Queens Park Rangers have bagged their second striker of the week as Leon Clarke pens a deal with the R's

The striker who was released by Sheffield Wednesday has penned a two year deal at Loftus Road as Neil Warnock bolsters his fire-power.

Clarke has made one appearance for Rangers in the briefest of loan spells, in the defeat away at Leeds United - Ian Holloway's penultimate game in charge.

The Wolverhampton Wanderers forward then signed for Sheffield Wednesday and despite scoring on the final day couldn't save the Owls from the drop.

Leon made 83 appearances for the Owls, netting 18 times and the becomes Neil Warnock's second signing of the week.

In Neil we trust - surely not a Sheffield Wednesday fan having a swipe at Mr Warnock... I won't have it!

Time for a picky moment, shouldn't that be re-sign rather than resign?? I know we have powerful owners, but even they aren't capable of making players hang up their boots...... or are they?

Think Owls should have kept him for league 1 unless wages were prohibitive for us, sometimes looked lazy but showed times of great skill on some occasions, reckon he would have got better with regular football instead of sat on bench, time will tell must be a good signing as freebie for QPR though so time will tell!

why did we make this signing somone?

I think calling him the worst striker ever is a bit harsh, but he's in the top 2. You never know which Leon is going to turn up. More often than not though it's the lazy one. Oh and keep a check on your advertisement boards as he kicks those harder than the ball.

Saw that - don't quite know what he was thinking, but if Warnock can challenge that passion and motivate the better side of his game as you say, then as Warnock puts it - it's worth a gamble!
Boxer
agreed with the mackie signing as he is a hard worker who i feel will play at his best under warnock. But Clarke is lazy. I see another Priskin but please, please prove me wrong.
