QPR Future Excites Clarke

New Queens Park Rangers signing Leon Clarke outlined Neil Warnock's outlook as one of the main reasons for signing in W12.

Clarke - who was recently released by Sheffield Wednesday - has signed a two-year deal at Loftus Road today, to mark his second spell with the club.

Speaking to QPR.co.uk the centre-forward outlined his excitement in playing in the squad with the potential of the R's and working for boss Neil Warnock.

'I'm really looking forward to next season already,' he said.

'Neil has outlined his plans for the campaign and it promises to be an exciting chapter in the Club's history.

'He spoke to me about the type of players he wants to attract here, as well as the quality of the current squad.

'He's a Manager who demands the very best from his players and I can't wait to play for him.'

It will undoubtedly rub a few Wednesday fans up the wrong way given Mr Warnock's affiliations with the red half of Sheffield, with opinions still divided on the merits of the centre forward.

There is evidently a great potential for Clarke to succeed as outlined by the QPR boss, but also make or break time if the centre-forward is to make it to top flight football.
