QPR have been linked with the signature of yet another player with a Championship midfielder reportedly in Neil Warnock's sights.

Preston North End man Darren Carter is being rumoured by Sky Sports as a possible summer addition with Rangers and Reading in pursuit.

The midfielder - who has achieved promotion with West Bromwich Albion and Birmingham City - had been predominantly used as a substitute last campaign

This comes as Lee Hendrie admitted Rangers' interest in him should a potential deal for another midfielder not come to fruition.

Speculation will now ensue as to whether this is the deal that may kill or spark the Hendrie transfer, but Warnock has already admitted his interest in several players in that position.

Would you sign Carter, Hendrie, both or maybe neither? -Let us know!
