Kenny Deal Confirmed

Queens Park Rangers have revealed the worst kept secret in the transfer market as Paddy Kenny is confirmed as a QPR player.

Rangers have paid £750,000 for the former Sheffield United man who chose to reject a new deal at Bramall Lane in favour of linking up with Neil Warnock in W12.

The deal which was ironed out last week sees Kenny pen a three-year deal with Rangers capturing a genuine challenger with Radek Cerny to the number one spot.

The pair were joint recepients of the golden glove in 2008/09 and now QPR arguable have two of the best goalkeepers in the division.

The backlash from United fans has already been vocal as Kenny feels the club didn't do enough to retain his services and prevent a move to London.

It is officially the third capture named by QPR this summer following Jamie Mackie and Leon Clarke and more is poised to be announced in the coming weeks.
