Can Warnock Tame Taarabt

Neil Warnock is looking to confound the odds by snaring long-term transfer target Adel Taarabt.

The QPR boss has flown out to Morocco in an attempt to persuade Taarabt to sign for a club where his talents will be fully appreciated.

His unique selling point appears to be the lure of regular first team football, something that clubs such as Villarreal - a reported target - could not guarantee.

This comes hot off the heels of Warnock's warning shot at potential transfer targets that no-one is assured of regular first team football.

Whether Adel is an exception to this rule remains to be seen, but it is plain that the R's boss is keen to recapture the Moroccan marvel, who was somewhat of an enigma at Loftus Road last season.

While his skills are undoubted his temperament was in question at points last season, where he took exception to heavy-handed criticism from the stands.

It seems however that Warnock is keen to lure Taarabt from the European dream with the promise of Premier League football the season after next should his influence spur the R's to promotion.

Do you want to see Adel back? - Do we have a chance of signing him?

I hope he comes, if he goes to villareal the same thing will happen to him that happened at spurs. If he signs he will have the chance to make a name for himself
