Has Paulo Sousa Turned His Back On Swansea?

Paulo Sousa has seemingly turned his back on Swansea City to take up the post at Championship rivals Leicester.

The Portuguese boss had a positive season in charge of the Welsh outfit, only missing out on a top-six spot on the final day, but has seen fit to open discussions with Leicester City.

He is the latest in a line of ex-QPR bosses to feel the holy grail lies at the Walkers with Ian Holloway and Martin Allen both jumping ship to join forces with Milan Mandaric, with disastrous consequences.

During his tenure at the Liberty Stadium Sousa built a formidable rearguard, but the lack of strength in the forward line ultimately cost them their place in the playoffs.

Sousa was vocal - as ever - about his disappointment in not strengthening the potential playoff candidates, an outspoken nature that ultimately cost him his post in W12.

It will be interesting to gage the level of disappointment among the Swans fans, as they lose their second manager in as many years at the Liberty Stadium.
