PREVIEW

It's been a whirlwind few months for Crystal Palace after losing ten points and subsequently boss Neil Warnock, but they fought the odds to remain a Championship side.

Paul Hart hauled Palace over the line on the final day, with Darren Ambrose a key player for the Eagles in both their initial chase for the playoffs, then eventually saving the drop.

George Burley now takes the helm at Selhurst Park, with not a great deal changing financially, but the spirit around SE25 remains strong.

Prediction: 21

Palace fans will undoubtedly hope for more, but in my opinion the best that can be hoped for is another season at this level and Championship safety.

The Eagles may well be motivated to finish better placed, but the lower echelons of the division - given the club's finances and lack of experience - is the best that can be hoped for.
