Queens Park Rangers retained their London Masters title defeating West Ham United at the Wembley Arena following a stunning come-back.

They had to come from behind in the final as Kenny Brown's scorcher from distance beat Simon Royce all ends up, before Don Hutchison doubled the Iron advantage.

The odds were truly stacked against Rangers when Kevin Keen netted for West Ham, but a Michael Meaker goal set the ball rolling for QPR.

Meaker then stunned the occasion by scoring from distance with a minute remaining before equalising just seconds from time, sliding in to place home.

At 3-3 the game went to penalties and Don Hutchison spurned the opening effort with Karl Connolly making no mistake. Tony Thorpe and Kenny Brown netted their respective spot-kicks.

With former QPR man Keith Rowland seeing his spot-kick saved by Royce, Michael Meaker became the hero of the hour to net the winner.

Leading up to the final Rangers had dispatched of Tottenham Hotspur (3-2) before a Marcus Bignot hatrick saw them past Arsenal.

Wayne Fereday - the fastest thing on two legs - held the cup aloft as Rangers once again triumph in the final against West Ham on penalties and will head to the national finals once more.
