PREVIEW

There can be no question that Sean O'Driscoll has done a phenomenal job at the Keepmoat Stadium thus far, not only keeping Rovers in the division but playing an attractive brand of football.

Doncaster are now famed for their style of play under the Irishman, as despite not having a glut of talent at their disposal they're always able to put up a spirited fight and at times out-play opposition.

Signing Billy Sharp has laid down a marker for the Yorkshire outfit as they bid to do one better than last season and given their two year's experience there's every chance of that happening.

Prediction: 14

Doncaster's experience at this level will count for a lot as they look to not only retain their place, but compete for a top-half finish.

At present the squad isn't strong enough overall to finish in the top half, however I am sure that players such as Sharp will slot into the current model effectively and help Rovers drive on.

However they will have to be more competitive where it matters to achieve the lofty heights of a 12th placed finish once more.
