PREVIEW

Leicester took many by surprise last season as Nigel Pearson's ruthless organisation and the emergence of Matt Fryatt and Martyn Waghorn combined to hand the Foxes a playoff berth.

Defensively City were strong and while they proved a surprise package to many, Pearson and the City fans who had tracked their progress through from League One saw a rejuvenated line-up.

Now Paulo Sousa takes the helm and if the City fans thought they'd seen organisation, step forward the manager with that in abundance albeit lacking a little enterprise.

Prediction: 9

I predict a season of re-building for the Foxes and in honesty they have the ideal man at the helm to avoid any talk of second season syndrome.

Sousa won't perhaps be as ambitious as Pearson, but I wouldn't expect City to concede and henceforth lose many - just don't expect a great deal of excitement.

The Portuguese boss will hold the fort excellently however as the Foxes will seemingly prove a very tough prospect to face and beat this time out.

While the home supporters chanted the name of their former manager - who guided them into League One and helped pave the way for their current Championship status - the visiting supporters were left exasperated by another fairly tepid display.

It could have been worse for the visiting side as they fell behind
