PREVIEW

Paul Lambert's Canaries bounced back at the first time of asking with the minimum of fuss and only a opening day hiccup to blemish their otherwise exemplary record.

Lambert's Colchester truly demolished City and as a result Bryan Gunn received his marching orders and the Scotsman was installed as the man charged with taking the Canaries back up.

The emergence of Grant Holt and Chris Martin were two plus points in a comfortable promotion campaign, as Norwich enter the Championship with renewed vigour.

Prediction: 12

One of the tougher teams to predict this time out as no-one really knows how City will react to life back in the Championship - at best a Leicester scenario could be on the cards.

Organisation will be the key for the Canaries, who were allowed to drift out the division without so much of a whimper two years ago, with a mid-table finish a solid and positive aspiration.

Canaries supporters will inevitably crave higher, but the calibre of inclusion thus far suggests that playoffs would be a bridge too far.
