Rangers impressive start to the Championship campaign has earned nominations for two monthly awards.

Manager Neil Warnock has taken Rangers to the summit of the npower Championship, as Queens Park Rangers set the pace after an unbeaten start.

He is named alongside Cardiff City's Dave Jones, Ipswich Town's Roy Keane and ex-QPR man, Kenny Jackett - manager of newly promoted Millwall.

Meanwhile Adel Taarabt has also earned some plaudits this month with two goals in his opening four games with a succession of fine displays from midfield.

He is nominated alongside Leeds United's Kasper Schmeichel, Cardiff City's Jay Bothroyd and Millwall defender Paul Robinson, all sterling performers in the month of August.

Good luck to Adel and Neil in their bid to gain and avoid the awards respectively!
