QPR Trialist 'Snubbed Manchester City'

Giorgos Tofas has been linked with a move to Queens Park Rangers after reportedly snubbing Fulham and Manchester City.

The 21-year-old striker - formerly of Αnorthosis Famagusta and AEK Athens - has been linked with Loftus Road by IM Scouting who believe him to be on trial.

A trialist did score for Rangers in their recent behind-closed-doors friendly against Tottenham and this is widely believed to have been the Cypriot front-man.

In the past he has also been linked with a move to Middlesbrough, but a deal to take him to the Riverside fell through prior to his move to Famagusta.

Let's not forget that these Manchester City 'fans' have only been supporting the club since 2008, and only understand a football transfer as signing an over-rated, greedy, over-paid 'world class' player.

These fans were supporting their club in the 3rd tier of English football we were averaging 28,000 then what is your average again?

Jim4pompey - can certainly tell you are NO money! This article doesn't even mention your team, how desperate are you,

Danielqpr - By all accounts that would mean you have only just started supporting qpr since you were taken over then!? Pot. Kettle. Black.

There's no doubt Man City are a big club. But even their big support cannot sustain the level of spending going on,, especially as it was probably made from betting on dubious cricket games
