Parker Returns

Josh Parker has called time prematurely on his loan spell at Northampton Town

The young wide man was due to stay at the Sixfields Stadium for a little longer, but after being left out of the starting XI against Oxford United decided to return to W12.

He did so with boss Ian Sampson's consent after making only three appearances in a brief stint.

Parker was in fact ineligible for the Cobblers' trip to Ipswich Town owing to him featuring in the R's Carling Cup disappointment at home to Port Vale.
