Smith Signs!
It has been confirmed that Tommy Smith's loan deal has become permanent at last.
Signing a 2 1/2 year deal, for an undisclosed sum, Tommy Smith will now not have to sit out important games, like Saturday's fixture at Norwich, because of the stupidity of the structure of the loan deal!
Remember - we only didn't get him on a permanent deal in September because the papers were deemed to have reached the Football League too late on 31st August to allow his registration.
