Aston Villa Chase Kyle Walker

Kyle Walker is reportedly the subject of interest from Premier League side Aston Villa.

The Tottenham Hotspur loanee has put in some excellent performances at full-back for the table topping side and Aston Villa have now reportedly shown an interest.

The Daily Mail are reporting that Walker has impressed Villa boss Gerard Houllier and he is looking to land the England Under 21 international on loan until the end of the campaign.

Rumours behind the scenes persist that Harry Redknapp would prefer Walker to be playing Premier League football, and Villa Park could be the perfect place for Kyle to ply his trade.

Just shows the gulf between the two clubs.

The rumour going around is that he is basically nearly at villa but its just rumours. Not too sure how this will work getting a future prospect on loan unless we are going to buy him end of the season.

I think we will buy him. Spurs have Hutton and Corluka for right back already and no doubt Harry will soon want a RB of Champions League quality so I think it will be a permanent signing or a loan and we will sign him end of season. Hopefully not a loan though because that would be foolish, if he does well then the big 4 will try and poach him.

I can't see Villa getting him permanently unless they shell out some very big figures. 'Arry rates this player very highly indeed and rightly so. Sadly, it makes sense for him to get premier league football experience, if that's available, even if it's in a relegation battle.
