QPR Miss Out on Kyle Naughton
Queens Park Rangers were dealt a set-back in their bid to sign Tottenham Hotspur full-back Kyle Naughton.
The defender that signed at White Hart Lane with former QPR loanee Kyle Walker had been linked with Queens Park Rangers but Neil Warnock revealed that Rangers couldn't match the fee that Leicester paid for his loan deal.
As a result Rangers were short on numbers against Blackburn Rovers today with a mounting injury list meaning that QPR could only field six substitutes - three of which were youth team players.
Warnock revealed to QPR.co.uk: 'We also missed out on Kyle Naughton, because we couldn't afford what Leicester paid Spurs for his loan.'
Leicester City and Sven Goran Eriksson extended Naughton's loan at the Walkers Stadium with Rangers left to contemplate a growing sick list.
