Coventry City number 10 Freddy Eastwood has been pinpointed by Vital QPR as the One to Watch in Sunday's televised npower Championship clash.

Name: Freddy Eastwood

Date of Birth: 29/10/83

Former Clubs: West Ham, Grays Athletic, Southend United, Wolverhampton Wanderers

Appearances (Goals): 295 (106)

Welsh international Freddy Eastwood will be out to capitalise on a promising recent run of goalscoring form and avenge QPR`s recent 2-0 win at the Ricoh Arena. A striker with an impressive goalscoring record, Eastwood will be out to net past an Rs team looking to push on in their quest for promotion.

Eastwood began his career as a West Ham United Academy player, playing in the same team as the likes of Jermaine Defoe and Glen Johnson. However he was considered not good enough and was released by manager Glen Roeder. He went on to join Conference South side Grays Athletic where he went on to score 37 goals in all competitions in his first season. This prompted a firm interest from a host of professional clubs and he initially made a loan move to Southend United.

He managed to score four goals in a brief loan spell before he joined permanently for an undisclosed fee in November 2004. Eastwood soon made his name at The Shrimpers where he became a cult hero, bagging 71 goals in all competitions in 129 appearances. Despite managing 15 league goals in the 2006/2007 season, Eastwood couldn`t prevent an inevitable Southend relegation; however one highlight included a memorable 30 yard free-kick against Man Utd in the league cup to knock the holders out of the competition.

His reputation was further enhanced when he joined Wolves in July 2006 for a fee of £1.5 million. Despite such a promising move, the Essex-born striker suffered a frustrating time at Molineux, making just 12 starts under manager Mick McCarthy. He soon found himself further down the pecking order and eventually joined Coventry City in a four year deal for a transfer fee reportedly worth £1.2 million.

With the Sky Blues, Eastwood netted four goals in 43 starts during 2008/09 but what he lacked in goals he made up for with creativity, becoming the club's best provider of goal assists. He found his form in 2009/10 though, netting eight times including the first ever hat-trick at the Ricoh Arena in a 3-2 win over Peterborough United in December 2009.

Having featured for Wales on numerous occasions, the threat of Eastwood shouldn`t be taken lightly by the Rangers defence, as Eastwood will certainly be looking to continue an impressive career as a striker.
