Taarabt Shortlisted For Award

Adel Taarabt has been shortlisted for the npower Championship Player of the Year Award

The Magical Moroccan has dazzled supporters this season with a string of impressive displays.

The playmaker has virtually held a one man goal of the season competition as he helped lift QPR on to their present standing at the summit.

While at times he has proven a frustration, none more so than to boss Neil Warnock, he has fully earned this nomination and goes up against Grant Holt (Norwich City) and former QPR loanee Scott Sinclair (Swansea City).

A notable mention should also be made to former QPR wide-man Gareth Ainsworth who continues to impress with his no-nonsense, all-action approach with Wycombe Wanderers.

The 37-year-old winger continues to belie his years with performances typically brimming with the enthusiasm that one would come to expect.

He sits alongside Adam Le Fondre (Rotherham United) and Ryan Lowe (Bury) as a front-runner for the League Two gong.

Danny Graham is better then all the other nominations put together.. 1) he doesn't sulk like Taarabt 2) doesn't cheat & dive like Holt & Sinclair. 3) Danny way out ahead as top scorer in the Champoinship.. All this from one of the teams hottly tip for relagation at the begining of the season... What a joke...

I would tend to agree with you. Danny Graham has really hit his straps this season and considering the role he has had to play in your season and I think he should have at least been nominated. Taarabt has had a couple of sulks this season but when he's on form there is no better player in the Championship in my opinion.

Boxer I agree to most of what say.. Your guy is unquestionably good. U have seen more of taarabt then me as I have with Danny Graham. We'll have to agree to disagree.. Good luck QPR..
