Warnock Reflects on Pride Park Comeback

Queens Park Rangers boss Neil Warnock reflects on Rangers' Pride Park comeback as the league leaders prepare to meet the Rams this Monday.

Rangers were seemingly out of the game when Kris Commons and James Bailey fired Derby into a two goal lead, but injury time goals from Patrick Agyemang and Jamie Mackie capped off an incredible comeback.

Ahead of this Monday's televised clash, the R's boss has hailed this comeback as a defining one given the change in attitude and spirit among the players

'I think it was the main moment of the season,' Warnock told the Fulham Chronicle

'I think it turned everything around in the space of three minutes. We were outplayed on the day and the players went from being disappointed, miserable and doubting themselves to believing we could come back against anybody if we keep going.

'It was like we'd won the cup. All the substitutes were up hugging each other, even if was a bit early in the season to be doing that.'

Rangers cannot achieve promotion this Monday given the positive results for Cardiff City and Norwich City, but a victory would go a long way to helping them realise their Premier League ambitions.
