QPR Confirm Friendly Against Atalanta
QUEENS PARK RANGERS have today confirmed they will face Italian Side Atalanta in a pre-season friendly on Saturday 30th July 2011. The Nerazzuri will welcome the Rs to their home stadium, the Atleti Azzurri d'Italia, where they will test their credentials against a newly-promoted QPR side.
Atalanta were promoted to Serie A at the end of the 2010/2011 season after winning the Serie B title, and this fixture will mark the end of their pre-season campaign. The friendly will kick off at 8.30pm (local time).
Neil Warnock`s squad will land in Italy on Monday 25th July for their seven day stay and QPR.co.uk have confirmed a further friendly based in Italy will soon be announced.
