Fernandes To 'Review Prices'

Fernandes To 'Review Prices'

NEW majority shareholder Tony Fernandes has vowed to review the current season ticket prices at Loftus Road

The news continues to improve for QPR fans as Tony Fernandes looks to consult with supporters and others with a view to redressing the balance of the summer hike in season tickets.

He told the Hammersmith and Fulham Chronicle: 'I'm going to seek the views of the management and fans - and we will make changes. I'm sure there will be an announcement before the next league home game.'

This will be excellent news for many if the prices are to be reviewed in the immediate term with some supporters incurring as much as a 40% increase at the hands of the previous regime.

rather have a west ham supporter in change than a Chelsea supporter. and merlin, so far (even though nothing happened other than the talking yet) it is brilliant.

Shouldn't you be begging him to keep prices up so you can afford some new players? That probably sounds harsh but it really looks like you need them. Taarabt won't make it in the PL - sorry.

Lets put things into perspective - 10,000 season tickets at an average of £700 is £7m. at an avergae of £500 per ST its £5m. If we are desperate for £2m, we are screwed because that is 2 players wages for the year (at 20k per week) no more. In short ticket prices pay for very little
