Wright-Phillips Happy With QPR Ambition

QUEENS Park Rangers newest signing Shaun Wright-Phillips was tempted to the club by the ambition of the hierarchy and Neil Warnock

The England international winger has penned a deal this evening with QPR and revealed to Sky that he is looking forward to his debut.

'Very delighted at the moment looking forward to it all kicking off,' he told Sky Sports.

'After speaking to the manager and seeing the direction the club was going I wanted to be a part of helping that happen.'

When asked if he had a message for QPR fans he said: 'Get behind me as best as you can and Ill give you 110% every time I get on the pitch.'

Wright-Phillips signed for Rangers with around half an hour remaining on the summer transfer window and will surely go right into the squad to face Newcastle United.
