Fernandes' Great Gesture

Fernandes' Great Gesture

TONY Fernandes has once again strengthened his rapport with supporters with another tremendous gesture

Mr Fernandes has taken the club by storm since sweeping onto the scene during August.

Already he has promised QPR season ticket holders significant discounts while rebuilding the tainted trust between the hierarchy and the fans.

The positive news continued tonight as he used Twitter to give away tickets to supporters for the upcoming Newcastle United game.

Andy Pike was the first to win this evening after asking for a ticket for his 60-year old father - another die-hard QPR fan.

He told Vital QPR: 'Absolutely brilliant - what a great gesture. My dad will really enjoy it - thanks Tony!'

Further winners have come from Argentina, Indonesia and Fernandes' native Malaysia as the R's owner shows tremendous class and empathy with the QPR fans.
