Sir Alex Relishing W12 Visit

SIR Alex Ferguson is looking forward to this weekend's clash as the champions visit W12.

While many have been quick to dismiss the title prospects of Manchester United this term - primarily due to their trailblazing neighbours - Sir Alex Ferguson takes his troops into battle once more as they seek to continue their unbeaten record on their travels.

Despite notable recent defeats to Manchester City, FC Basle and Crystal Palace, Ferguson is evidently confident that the positive form can return as they travel to a happy hunting ground in Loftus Road.

'We always enjoy going to Queens Park Rangers,' he told mufc.com

'It's always a good atmosphere. We have a good record there and I hope we can continue that.

'They've done well and given themselves a chance of staying in the league by investing. It's going to be a hard game.

'Queens Park Rangers have invested the right way. Neil Warnock realised that when you get into the Premier League you need big players.'

The positive record Sir Alex speaks of has seen United only lose once in nearly 15 years at Loftus Road, that coming in 1989 with an Andy Gray double along with a strike from Andy Sinton sealing a 3-2 victory.
