South African Forward Linked

South African Forward Linked

MARK Hughes is keen to keep the South African links coming with a third linked with the club in as many weeks

27-year-old Katlego Mphela of the Mamelodi Sundowns is being linked to Queens Park Rangers this morning (Daily Mail) to help bolster their fire-power.

The forward had brief spells in France with Strasbourg and Reims while also making nearly 50 caps for his native South Africa.

He follows Daylon Claasen and Steven Pienaar in being linked to a move to W12, but quite how much mileage is in this latest rumour remains to be seen.

I'd love to see him in the premier league, he's a very competent striker. But as a South African I would have to be honest and say his finishing probably isn't up to standard (well not yet anyway, perhaps a loan would work) and probably wouldn't cut the mustard for you guys. See ya at the weekend...

Never heard of him. No doubt, there is some link to the spawn of the devil that is Hughes' agent, Joorabchian!
