CissÚ To Serve Three Match Ban

DJIBRIL CissÚ will miss the next three fixtures owing to his red card at the weekend.

The French forward reacted angrily to a poorly-timed challenge from defender Roger Johnson and was subsequently given his marching orders by official Mark Clattenberg.

In truth CissÚ can consider himself a tad fortunate that an extra game was not added due to the length of time taken to leave the field.

The former Liverpool front-man will now miss fixtures against Blackburn Rovers (A), Fulham (H) and Everton (H).

Rob Hulse looks set to deputise for the three fixtures at least as he looks to strike up a partnership with debutante goalscorer Bobby Zamora.
