Hill Resigned To Depart

DEFENDER Clint Hill expects to leave Queens Park Rangers at the end of the season.

The 33-year-old was an integral part of Rangers' promotion to the Premier League, but for the second time this season seems resigned to leave W12.

Hill was ousted from the side by Armand Traoré, seeing him sign for Nottingham Forest on loan - he was recalled however due to a shortage in defence.

He featured in both of QPR's home victories this season against Chelsea and Wigan Athletic, sparking hope for the League Cup Runner Up, that he may get a new contract.

This has proven not to be the case, with the introduction of Taye Taiwo and the return of Traoré pushing the Liverpool-born man further down the pecking order.

'I think when you get knocked back for a new contract like that you pretty much know where you stand,' he told West London Sport.

'I'll give my all if I`m called upon and then will hopefully get fixed up at the end of the season.'

Hill will remain part of the squad until the end of the current campaign at least as Mark Hughes looks to retain numbers until the end of the season.
