International Duo Called-Up

JAMIE Mackie and Danny Gabbidon have been called up for their respective nations

Jamie Mackie has once more got the call from Scotland as they face Slovenia on Wednesday 29th February.

Mackie has been a marvel for Scotland since Craig Levein opted to select the Surrey-born front-man - netting twice in four appearances.

He is joined by Welshman Danny Gabbidon, more of a veteran of the international scene, who has received a call up for Wales.

The central defender, who has 45 caps to his name, will be selected in a Gary Speed Memorial Match against Costa Rica - a squad presided over by new boss Chris Coleman.

The pair join Taye Taiwo on duty for their country having already been selected to play for Nigeria - all this three days before a crucial home clash against Everton.
