Hughes Fired Up

QUEENS Park Rangers boss Mark Hughes to make their final fixtures count in what is sure to be a tough run-in.

Rangers travel to Chelsea on Sunday, hot off the heels of a fine win over Barcelona this week. Hughes has issued a rallying cry to the players and fans to make the last fixtures meaningful ones.

Hughes told QPR.co.uk: 'It will probably go to the wire and I've always said that would be the case.

'We've got three very difficult games to go.

'We can't allow ourselves to think that the home game here against Stoke will be a given, because they are a very good Premier League team.'

With home form immaculate of late many are eyeing Stoke City's visit to W12 as potentially profitable, as you can see Hughes may feel the same way but is guarding against complacency.

Once a Chelsea player, the QPR boss stated that if Rangers can address their away form and discipline then they have a chance of taking down the Champions League finalists for the second time this season.
