Kean Heaps Pressure On QPR

STEVE Kean believes all the pressure is on Blackburn's relegation rivals this weekend.

In a strange statement in his side's build up to a fixture against Wigan Athletic, Steve Kean did not concede relegation, but rather believed the pressure was on QPR and Bolton Wanderers to pick up results.

While it is undoubtedly the easier of the two fixtures this weekend for Rangers and the Trotters, if they better Blackburn's results against Wigan, then Rovers will be relegated.

'The pressure is definitely on them (QPR & Bolton) to get results,' said Kean.

'You could argue there is more pressure on them as they are playing first.

'We just need to look after our own result, we can`t do anything about QPR or Bolton, but we`ve got them in our sights.

'If we can beat Wigan, it all goes to the last game.'

Rovers are looking to take matters to the last day, when they face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, with QPR knowing all to well the fate that could possibly await them.

Only one win in their last seven has seen Rovers plummet into the bottom three while QPR and Bolton face home games against Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion respectively.
