Home Comfort For QPR

QUEENS Park Rangers will host Swansea City on the opening day of the 2012-13 Premier League campaign

It seemed like almost yesterday I was dancing around in delirium at the City of Manchester Stadium at the prospect of another year in the top flight, and already we know our opponents for the season's opener.

Swansea City do not fare well at Loftus Road, as has been highlighted by some thumping defeats in recent times - this will be the motivation both sides need to get off to a good start in the coming campaign.

Better we hope when Michael Laudrup's men come to town than the drubbing at the hands of the eventually relegated Bolton Wanderers - last laugh and all that - where QPR dramatically slumped to an opening day disaster.

Rangers then host West London rivals Chelsea barely a month into the campaign, before hosting West Bromwich Albion on Boxing Day, travelling back to Chelsea on New Years Day and finishing the season away at Liverpool.

What was I saying this time last year? - Ah yes, 'I hope we don't need to get something from that last match!'

Sadly if a fan website wants to publish fixtures they have to pay approximately £200.00 for the copyright, a decision which is still being fought against in the courts to date

Unfortunately, it's not spare change for me, so I shall do you the honour of linking to the official website and seeing the full list there.

Let's hope it's another season to remember!
