Defender To Depart?

ARMAND Traoré is reported to be on the verge of leaving Loftus Road for Portuguese giants Benfica.

In an article published by Portuguese newspaper O Gola, the Senegalese international is linked with a move to the Stadium of Light.

With Taye Taiwo no longer being linked with Loftus Road and Fabio looking to take up the left-back slot, Hughes may be leaving himself a tad short of defensive options without the young defender Traoré.

Quite how much credence can be afforded to this latest speculation is open to debate as this rumour has rather come from left field in light of some useful displays in Malaysia.

Definitely a player we should hang on to, even if we had loads of full backs. (Which we don't !)
