'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fans Eye View - ImSitiv

VITAL QPR asks for the views of the fans, as we look back to last season and with great anticipation for the coming campaign - this time ImSitiv.

LAST SEASON

Favourite Goal & Why?: Mackie v Man C (A) - against all odds, what a thriller that set up

Favourite Game & Why?: Man C at Home. Runaway juggernaut so nearly stopped in its tracks. We really gave them a run for their money. I went home as happy as if we'd won (well almost!)

Player of the Season & Why?: Clint Hill. Written off and sent to NF, but came back and was pivitol in our survival

Signing of the Season & Why?: Diakite - exciting play and potential

View on Last Season: Woefully short. Absolute barren patch end of October to mid March was too painful. Too many games lost be a single goal.

2012-13 SEASON

Signing of the Summer So Far & Why?: Diakite - last season was just the beginning

Your Captain & Why?: Pass. Derry and Hill have the experience and leadership, but I doubt they will get sufficient airtime. I'd like to see Ali get it. Park seems the only candidate

Hotly Anticipated Fixture?: Swansea home - return to LR, let's see the new signings in action, will we show our potential?

Starting XI - Opening Day: Green, Onuoha, Ferdinand, Hill, Fabio, Park, Diakite, Treore, Taarabt, Mackie, Cisse

Expectations?: A lot better than last year! With the form we showed at the end of last season, and the strengthening of the squad, we should improve home results, and do better away as well. Turning some of those loses by one goal into wins, I reckon we can get 3 more home wins and 3 more away wins this season. 18 more points. 8th or 9th for me please.

Many thanks to ImSitiv - if you'd like to let us know your answers add to the thread on the forum or email qpr@vitalfootball.co.uk.
