Mackie Targeted?
JAMIE Mackie is being linked to Norwich City this morning (Wednesday)
The Daily Mail have reported this morning that the hard-working QPR forward is the subject of interest for Norwich City, who are looking to bolster their strike force.
While it would seem they've hit a cul de sac when it comes to signing Mackie, a player very highly regarded at Loftus Road, they are certainly on a recruitment drive.
Mackie it would seem is the viable alternative for the Canaries to Gary Hooper, a man Celtic has vehemently denied is leaving the Scottish giants.
The Mail seems to believe that £3m may be enough to snare the QPR front-man, when in truth that figure can more than double in relation to his importance to the team at present.
Carrow Road chiefs should not be too surprised when they get the short shrift on this one.
