Player Rating - 3. Armand Traoré

Appearances: 28
Goals: 0

Armand Traoré would have to step up following the departure of Taye Taiwo - his loan spell from AC Milan coming to an end at the finale of the 2011/12 campaign.

He lost his place, like so many from the previous season, when Fabio da Silva and Jose Bosingwa joined the club. Initially it was Nedum Onuoha and Fabio on the flanks before Bosingwa came to usurp Onuoha.

Traoré did however start to feature more as injuries to Fabio and latterly the refusal of Bosingwa to play prompted more game time for the Senegalese international. At time however he was unable to replicate the positive aspects of the 2011/12 season, and rather went backwards.

His crossing was erratic, he would lose the ball in key areas and his defensive duties showed little signs of improvement. He was at times very promising going forward but seldom did this result in a chance of note or indeed a decisive goal.

With Redknapp insistent on his attempted but ultimately failed capture of Wayne Bridge - it would appear that Traoré will have to find himself another club.

Rating: 4/10
