Anton Ferdinand came off the back of a decent season in 2011/12, albeit with room for improvement, but could not make sufficient impact on Mark Hughes' Rangers. Things continued to develop for the worse as the season progressed.

It culminated in a 4-2 defeat at home to Milton Keynes Dons in the FA Cup, where some section of support booed the defender after what was an appalling display. He was very promptly dispatched to Bursaspor in Turkey.

He made a number of decent performances for the Turkish outfit but is now due to return to W12 following the expiry of the loan, quite whether Redknapp will want to keep Ferdinand on the books however is open to debate.
