Player Rating - 10. Adel Taarabt

Player Rating - 10. Adel Taarabt

Appearances: 33
Goals: 5

One of the better performers in the campaign, Adel Taarabt was useful if a little inconsistent - such is the way of the Moroccan since joining Queens Park Rangers.

Under Mark Hughes it appeared that Adel was turning a corner in terms of work-rate - getting back to defend, winning headers and contributing in the final third. His consolation goal against West Ham United in particular was worthy of much more than purely that.

When Harry Redknapp took charge, his previous misgivings about Taarabt would spark rumours of his imminent departure. The midfielder however worked magic against Fulham to gift QPR their first victory of the season - long overdue in December.

He has been criticised for his behaviour and previously in the Championship, this was indulged by Neil Warnock to the benefit of the team - whether Redknapp will indulge Taarabt to this degree is open to debate at this time.
