Player Rating - 11. Shaun Wright-Phillips
Another indifferent performer, Shaun Wright-Phillips appears to be past his peak and has lost the ability to perform the skills for which he was previously acclaimed. Chelsea alone paid £24m for his pace and ability to coast past a player - a feat he is seemingly unable to achieve.
Mark Hughes at times would try to accommodate the pint-sized wide-man in the heart of midfield, such was his desperation for SWP to succeed, but it simply was not proving successful. Redknapp tried to boost his confidence but playing him in his natural attacking wide-right position, to little avail.
He struggled with the simplest of tasks, passing, crossing, even going past his first man - it was all proving a challenge to Wright-Phillips and fans were torn on whether he was completely disinterested or his confidence was shot to bits - my guess would be a little of both.
His goal against Chelsea however was the highlight of the season - and will never be forgotten by those in attendance.
