Player Rating - 15. Nedum Onuoha

Player Rating - 15. Nedum Onuoha

Appearances: 26
Goals: 0

Nedum Onuoha has worked his way across the back four during his time at QPR - Mark Hughes preferred the former Manchester City man at full-back, whereas Harry Redknapp reinstated the defender to a more central berth.

His performances were erratic and inconsistent - one game he would prove himself to be a capable defender, doing simple things effectively and dealing with issues with confidence - the next week Nedum would resemble Bambi on ice as he struggled with pace and power.

He started to achieve a little more consistency at the heart of the defence alongside Clint Hill at the back end of the season, and this could feasibly be a partnership worth building on in the Championship should Christopher Samba be sold.

Wherever he has been, Nedum has always been a bit-part player, filling in where required - it will be interesting to see how he copes with a full season in the rigours of the Championship.
