Jose Heads Rangers Exodus

JOSE Bosingwa will be the first of many more departures according to chairman Tony Fernandes as he is released by Queens Park Rangers

The Portuguese defender had a torrid season for QPR last time out as he played a more memorable role in Rangers relegation from the Premier League.

Refusing to sit on the bench, putting in little to no effort on the field and making countless mistakes, Bosingwa's spell at Loftus Road was littered with errors both on and off the pitch.

He was given a resounding vote of no confidence from the Rangers crowd during the final home game of the season, when many who had bit their tongues for the greater cause, let the lacklustre defender have it both barrels.

He is set to join Turkish club Trabzonspor and join up with Flourent Malouda, another former Chelsea mercenary. While Rangers have been keen to get him out the door, paying him off, while galling, was certainly the right thing to do, getting a poisonous influence away from W12.

Chairman Tony Fernandes predicted that four players would be leaving next week, two on loan as they would like to be retained by the club for the future. Loc Remy's name has been bandied about for a loan move to Newcastle United, with a potential return on the cards should Rangers manage promotion.
