Who R Ya - Leeds United

Vital QPR takes a look at Saturday's opponents - high-flying Leeds United.

THE LATEST

It's hard to believe that following the opening day fixture at Loftus Road, that Leeds United manager Garry Monk was reported to have fallen foul of Massimo Cellino and was fighting to save his job - this all of one game into his tenure. Even for the tyrannical owner this was something of a headliner.

The clock going forward as it has and everything now seems rosy in the garden that is Elland Road. Cellino has taken a side step - albeit forcibly - Monk has assembled a squad that embodies all the hallmarks of promotion challengers and has got a tune out of a striker in Chris Wood that raised the ire of the crowd for failing to hit a cow's backside with a banjo last term.

The archetypal sleeping giants - Leeds United are one of the very few sides that can carry that moniker with crowds increasingly exponentially this campaign. With numbers flocking back into Elland Road, it could be enough to carry them into the playoffs and potentially beyond.

Unless they do a 'Leeds United' that is…
