The Men in Black - QPR v Rotherham United

A late change with Oliver Langford taking the fixture between QPR and Rotherham Untied ahead of Andy Davies.

Teams: Queens Park Rangers v Rotherham United
Competition: Football League Championship
Date: Saturday 18th March 2017

Assistant: Dan Cook (Hampshire)
Assistant: Darren Blunden (Kent)
Fourth Official: Nick Kinseley (Essex)

Mr Langford from the West Midlands was promoted to the National List of Referees in 2008 before joining the Select Group 2 in the summer of 2016.

He will be assisted by Dan Cook (Hampshire) and Darren Blunden (Kent) with Nick Kinseley (Essex) on fourth official duties.

Mr Langford has overseen two QPR wins already this season - the opening day victory over Leeds United (3-0) and the impressive away win over playoff hopefuls Reading (0-1).

Mr Langford has dished out 114 yellow cards in 36 games, as he averages of 3.17 yellow cards per game - He also gave out five red cards in the space of six games earlier this campaign.

He replaced Andy Davies who was scheduled to officiate the clash this weekend, but Langford has been pulled away from his role as fourth official of the Burton v Brentford fixture to preside over this.

Mr Cook ran the line in the EFL Cup win over Swindon Town after extra time (2-2), the home drubbing by Newcastle United (0-6) and the improved 2-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.

Mr Blunden meanwhile also ran the line in an EFL Cup game - defeat at home to Sunderland (1-2); also a home win over Ipswich Town (2-1) and defeat against Huddersfield Town (1-2). He has also assisted in a draw with Reading (1-1) and a defeat against Wolverhampton Wanderers (1-2).

Mr Kinseley was fourth official at Loftus Road in the recent win over Barnsley (2-1).
