Who R Ya - Bristol City

Vital QPR assesses Friday's opponents - Bristol City.

THE LATEST

Bristol City are among a pack of teams at the wrong end of the table that are still fighting for their Championship safety - with Rotherham United now gone the likes of Wigan Athletic, Blackburn Rovers, Burton Albion and even the sliding Birmingham City are keeping the Robins company.

If Lee Johnson's men do survive it will have more than a little to do with the 22 goals of a player parachuted in from Chelsea - Tammy Abraham. The 19-year-old front-man has almost single-handedly kept Bristol City ticking over and keeping the marksman quiet could in all likelihood be the key to any potential success for QPR this weekend.

The Robins know however that three points see them within three of Rangers who themselves have been in patchy form under Ian Holloway. Three crucial points against Wolverhampton Wanderers helped to dispel a crushing defeat at the hands of Preston North End.

Rangers haven't travelled particularly well to Ashton Gate in recent years, indeed you'd be looking at Karl Connolly's brace and a Kevin Gallen effort that last saw the visitors net all three points. In truth though the Robins have only beaten Rangers twice since that day in typically close fought games.

What to expect this Good Friday? - Bristol City's erratic performances and QPR's experimenting and in highly unpredictable form. Expect the unexpected.
