Sheffield Wednesday are probably one of the few teams on a par with pre-season expectations in a typically unpredictable Championship campaign.

With Fulham breathing down the necks of three of the playoff teams the Owls have hit form at the right time in the campaign. Four wins in February was tempered by a solitary win in March - albeit a thumping one over Norwich City (5-1) - but coming into April Carlos Carvalhal's side have come into their own.

Three wins from four, including a home with over Newcastle United, has helped keep Fulham at bay for now but the Whites will be looking for a favour from neighbours Rangers to stifle the Owls and give them a path into the top six.

With Rangers fielding eleven deckchairs on Good Friday in defeat at Bristol City they will have it all to do to secure their safety and deal a hammer blow to Sheffield Wednesday on Easter Monday.
