Your Views On Ollie

Some of your views on the recent disposal of Ian Holloway as QPR manager. You can continue debating the decision in the forum or submit your own opinion at the bottom of this page.

'While I agree we needed a change of direction as regards leadership of the team I am disappointed with the way it was handled. To come out and officially say our manager has been placed on 'gardening leave' is an insult to our club Ian and all supporters. Ian has done a great deal for QPR in the last five years and unfortunatly he went as far as he could. To end it all like this is a disgrace. The chairman has to be held accountable for current state of our club.

Why have so many people on the business side of the club upped and left in the past 6/8 months????????'

'Glad Jim Smith isn't coming to L.R, think this would be a backward step when what we need is a forward 'thinking set-up''

'I do agree that if any of the statements from QPR.co.uk are to believed - the treatment of Holloway et al is harsh - as in the past any rumours / allegations have been refuted by IH right at the start of any media attention. (ie Coventry link / bung allegations, etc).

To be fair if Waddock can get his way and have QPR playing football again and he does get to stay in until Summer, this is a good move and can only be a positive way forward. Let's give these guys a chance.

It's clear there is a massive split amongst supporters at the moment - I am more worried about this helping to wreck the club than the management clear out - surely it's important to remain supporting the team and temporary management!!

There must also be a hell of a lot going on behnd the scenes at boardroom level if you take the amount of changes / resignations / redundancies that have occured since GP has been at the helm??'

'Ultimately the club is more important than any of the personnel involved, so we as supporters who unlike all the personnel are with the club for a lifetime should unite to prove 'we are qpr' and that the qpr brand will continue and hopefully flourish in years to come.'
