Russell on Board

Queens Park Rangers have appointed former Hearts of Midlothian Commercial Director Ali Russell.

Russell has been appointed Deputy Managing Director of Queens Park Rangers FC and will have a close working relationship with new Managing Director Alejandro Agag.

Russell also takes on the role of Commercial and Marketing Director, a role he was familiar with at Tynecastle. He will work in his role alongside Deputy David Orman who was appointed only a fortnight ago.

He told the club`s Official Website:

"I`m delighted to have joined Queens Park Rangers Football Club"

"It`s a highly exciting stage of development here at this club"

"The backing that the club has now is absolutely vast and this is a fantastic opportunity for me"

After a succesful job at Tynecastle since 2005, Ali will no doubt relish his new role in West London.

Vital Football QPR would like to extend its welcome to Ali and wish him all the best in his new job.

Ali got hearts a great money spinning deal with kit manufacturer Umbro, so you can expect him to change that sort of thing within the club. Get us the best deals on a big sponsor aswell!
