Angelo Signs

Rangers` youth product Angelo Balanta has penned his first professional contract with the R`s

The 17-year-old Colombian has put pen to paper on a contract until summer 2010.

The youngster spoke to the Official Website stating:

"It has always been a dream of mine to become a professional footballer"

"I am very grateful to the club and especially Mr. De Canio who has shown his faith already in me this season"

"I just want to go on and establish myself in his first team plans as soon as possible"


Balanta has made three appearances this season. Most notably a start in Rangers` demolition of Watford at Vicarage Road, and coming off the bench at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea.

Vital Football QPR would like to extend its Congratulations to Angelo on his first professional deal.
