Tykes Take Nardiello On Loan

Daniel Nardiello has rejoined his former club Barnsley on loan until the end of the season.

Nardiello controversially turned down a renewed contract offer from the Tykes in the summer and opted instead to sign for Rangers, to the annoyance of the Tykes faithful.

But John Gregory`s summer transfer has struggled with injuries and currently find himself on the fringe of Gigi De Canio`s squad and in need of first team football.

Under the terms of the loan agreement, Nardiello will not be allowed to face Rangers at Oakwell on Saturday 16th February.

The number 8 has yet to score for the R`s in 8 appearances and with De Canio opting to blood the youngsters in the reserve team rather than fringe players, it seemed only option for Nardiello.

Vital Football QPR would like to extend its thanks to Daniel and wish him all the best of luck in his loan spell.
