Agyemang Strikes An Actim Chord

Vital Queens Park Rangers received the following press release from Actim Index regarding Patrick Agyemang.

QPR new-boy Patrick Agyemang continued his fine start to life at Loftus Road with the highest score for a striker in this week's Actim Index, the official player ratings system of the Coca-Cola Championship.

Agyemang earned 38 points for his efforts, to add to the 15 points he recorded on his debut against Sheffield United - giving him a match average of over 26 points per appearance for the Hoops.

It was also the former Preston man's highest score of the campaign so far as he aims to help lift his new side up the Championship table.

Damion Stewart remains the top-ranked Rangers player, the defender averaging 14 points per appearance this season in 13th place overall.

Analysis of all Championship games is taking place throughout the season and so far the top five QPR players are:

Player - Damien Stewart - Rankin - 13th - Position Ranking - 3rd Ranked Defender- Index Score - 365 points

Player - Lee Camp - Rankin - 43rd - Position Ranking - 9th Ranked Goalkeeper - Index Score 314 points

Player - Akos Buzsaky - Rankin - 56th - Position Ranking - 14th Ranked Midfielder - Index Score - 302 points

Player - Chris Barker - Rankin - 111th - Position Ranking - 36th Ranked Defender - Index Score - 249 points

Player - Rowan Vine - Rankin - 118th - Position Ranking - 27th Ranked Striker - Index Score - 240 points

The Actim Index is calculated using a unique mathematical formula that rates each player's contribution be it goals, shots, passes, dribbles, tackles, crosses, saves, clearances, blocks, interceptions, assists, clean sheets, time on the pitch or number of points gained by the team with marks deducted for red and yellow cards.

The Actim Index is the official player ratings system of the Barclays Premier League and Coca-Cola Championship, which has been statistically proven to identify the best players. It is compiled and distributed by PA Sport.

This will be updated during the football season every Tuesday for the Barclays Premier League and every Thursday for The Coca-Cola Championship.
